Clinicians in the High-risk Infant Follow-up (HRIF) clinic assess the growth and development of infants discharged from the Intensive Care Nursery who are at risk for neurodevelopmental delay, including premature infants and infants with hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy (HIE).
What We Do
We carefully evaluate and track various measures of neurodevelopment through infancy and early childhood. The information provided by these assessments allows for early identification of disabilities and informs and guides our research efforts.
